Nothing can prepare you to see your baby so swollen, with so many bandages, tubes and wires. I am so thankful for the very skilled and capable hands who have brought my son through these surgeries and back into my arms.

Heart Month Day #11 Surgery
Severin has been through a total of 18 1/2 hours of Open Heart Surgery, and 6 hours of Heart Caths-minor surgery.
Nothing can prepare you to see your baby so swollen, with so many bandages, tubes and wires. I am so thankful for the very skilled and capable hands who have brought my son through these surgeries and back into my arms.
