Coloring Easter Eggs ....2 weeks late...

Serious business
Normally I would freak out if Sevs fingertips looked like this
very proud of his very dark blue egg, it was in the blue the whole time
Neleh had intent purpose and meticulous egg coloring skills
not too bad, out of the 5 dozen eggs Johnathen colored 15, Neleh colored a dozen,
and Sev all the remainder by throwing them in and fishing them out with his hands
Boiled eggs were on the menu for Johnathens' after Baptism Brunch. So why not let my kids color them? I will tell you, this is why I do not color eggs with my kids, nor will I EVER. again!

Spring Break Dinosaur Museum at BYU

Johnathen wanted it to look like he was running from the dinosaur.
Johnathen, TJ, Taya,Neleh and that was as close as Sev was going to get
I didn't take into consideration how scary these would look to Sev. He was scared for most of the museum, until he got to the display of the turtle and fish fossils. Then he said "toodulls not gairwee"
Thanks to Auntie Dayna, Taya and TJ for making it a fun day. We even went to an art museum and no one got kicked out! We ended our fun day with a picnic in the park.
Birthday Party! Thanks to Grandmas and Grandpas, Morgan and Kyle, Neleh, Sevie and Mom and dad for the cool presents. We ate Johnathens favorite food FRIED CHICKEN!!!

Happy Birthday Johnathen!

Birthday golfing at Trafalga! Johnathens birthday fell during the week of spring break this year. It was a party everyday!

EASTER fun!

Johnathen in TEC Club

Johnathen and his TEC Buddie Rachel
Our Elementary School did an awesome program for Johnathens 2nd grade class. It is called TEC Club (technical, engineering, computer). They learned about robotics, how engines work, power sources, and tons of other scientific experiments. At the end they made their own ROV. It was a submarine. They were able to go to a competition at the Lehi Pool. It included an underwater obstacle course. Did I mention they were competing against Jr. High and High Schools? Yep and they did great, no awards, but what a fun experience!

ta da a MAN CAVE!

Thanks to my Dad Thom got his MAN CAVE,
I painted and my Dad did the wainscoting, new electrical covers,
clean carpet, his favorite ratty couch, and a big screen TV= a happy Man
Thom always has wished for a place where he could relax and no one ie the kids can destroy..er...a...play in.

What? I forgot to blog Neleh's Birthday!

...Morgan has the pictures from the party on her camera...
Neleh wanted a CANDY party! Candy and gum are her "favwhat" things. Thanks to my cousin Jane and her amazing cricut skills we made gumball machine invitations. Then had a family glueing party with grandma.
She got her very own Princess bike!!! The next day it "warmed" up enough to go try it out. With "Furston" (Thurston- is the cabbage patch doll) in the doll basket she rode up and down the street with the wind in her hair, until she was frozen.
Bubble gum machine party favors. I remember getting one like this at a family Christmas as a kid. So with my memory and my Moms great sewing talents we made gumball machines! Lift up the little flap and get a gum ball.
