Perinatologist Appointment June 11

One more down. On Wednesday I had a strange and very painful "stomach" pain, I say stomach but at this point I really have no idea where any of my organs are. Anywho very painful, and then elevated (for my very low) blood pressure. I called Dr. Nance last night. He didn't seem too worried. So I decided I would lay down and see if I could relax. Well I woke up at 9:00 this morning to Neleh yelling for me. I talked to Dr. Gainer about the pain and she didn't seem to concerned either. I am not the critical one, Severin is and he only is after he comes out, until then life is good. So about this kid; He weighs 6 lbs 2 oz. !!! That is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Just for fun the tech (Keri who is my fav.) did a 3D of his face. His cord was across his lips and chin, but oh boy he is a Quist! We laughed for 10 mins! Even Keri looked at Thom and said this is definately your son. He has fat cheekies, and the Quist button nose. Thom was hoping that I could have one kid look like me. Not so much. He looks like Johnathen and Neleh and oddly enough like his Auntie Erica. No me, so good thing I know he is mine. Which brings me to my induction date. July 7 which is what I said all along. It would be an easy day for me to remember(7.7.10). Then when we found out we were having a Severin, that made it even cooler. When Dr. Gainer said the seventh I laughed, my first preminition to come true. We are playing a balance game between him being ready, me being ready and not waiting too long so he just come on his own. Dr.Gainer did say I would NOT deliver at UVRMC, if in the next three weeks I do go into labor on my own, I am to go to UVRMC and they will transport me to U of U. What a relief!! I just could not get the warm fuzzies about being in Provo while my baby takes an extremely traumatic life flight to Salt Lake. Go figure. My plans for the next three weeks is: make plenty of frozen dinners, break down and get a stupid cell phone so the CICU Nurses and others can call me anywhere, sit at the pool working on my tan because I will be indoors until next May!, get a pedicure with gel toes so I can have amazing foxy toes in delivery, get my hair colored so I can have youthful looking new mom picts., wax my eyebrows because who knows when I will get to do that again, organize my house so Thom doesn't have to call me looking for food, and just relax and enjoy my kids, Thom, and the end of my last pregnancy.
Loves,
Thom & Angee
